William Hargett, MA-MFT, LPCC-SUPV, is a Supervising Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has maintained a private practice in Fairfield County since 1991. His degree is specialized in Marriage and Family Therapy; although in private practice, he treats a wide range of mental and behavioral health needs in addition to marriage and family relationship needs.

Mr. Hargett, who prefers to go by Bill, has extensive clinical experience working with couples, families, children, and adolescents. Bill has been involved in leadership at both state and local levels. He has served as the past Crisis Coordinator for Fairfield County Emergency Services, and the Vice President and President of the Ohio Crisis Network.

Bill completed his undergraduate work at Circleville Bible College (now known as Ohio Christian University) with a degree in Christian Ministries in 1988. He has served as lead pastor in an Independent Methodist Church in Cleveland, MS, until he and his wife, Cyndi, moved to Jackson, MS, to pursue his Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Reformed Theological Seminary. He also worked as a youth pastor at Riverside Independent Methodist Church at that time. He has been in private practice in Lancaster, OH, since 1991 and also planted and pastored a church from 2003-2014.
